⑴ Intense education : A stage where the Korean language education is
intensely
provided
① Education period : 2 terms (1 term is 10 weeks)
Course 1: 1 day X 4 hours X 5 days = 20 hours
Course 2: 1 day X 6 hours X 5 days = 30 hours
② Education contents : 1 term - Learn basics of Korean language and
Korean alphabets
2 term : Learn the skills of basic Korean
language needed in class works
⑵ Continuing education : This is a stage to learn the Korean
language as a
required/elective course with the majoring course after admitted to the
major course
① Education period : 4 terms (Regular term following the academic
schedule of the University
-15 weeks or 16 weeks)
② Credits : 1, 2 term - 2 credits X 2 courses

on Korean culture

ㆍ1, 2 term (4 hours a day for 5 days of class - Total of 20/200 hours) -
Study material-oriented

The Korean language
education program at Hansung University is made up with the intense training course and
the continuing training course. The intense course is a course to provide the intense
training for basic competency on the Korean language and the Korean characters, while the
continuing course is the course to continuously teach the learners for the purpose of
adapting to the college life in Korea.
