Qualifications

Doctorate Program	For those who have successfully completed a master’s degree or expected to earn it in February 2022
Master’s Program	For those who have successfully completed a bachelor’s degree or expected to earn it in February 2022
Details	Nationality	Applicants must meet one of the following requirements. Applicants and their parents must be citizens of a country other than Korea. Non-Korean applicants(one of whose parents is Korean) or Korean applicants residing abroad must complete all curriculum of primary(elementary school), secondary(middle and high schools), and post-secondary(2-year college, 4-year university, and graduate school) education which are equivalent to those of Korea. Master's program applicants must complete a 16-year course and doctorate program applicants must complete an 18-year course. Korean citizens with dual or multiple nationalities are not eligible to apply.
Details	Language Proficiency	Korean	Applicants must meet at least one of the following requirements. Obtain a certificate of Test of Proficiency in Korean(TOPIK) Level 3 or higher. Obtain a bachelor's degree or higher from a 4-year university in Korea. Receive a letter of recommendation from the head professor of the department(major) as a government-sponsored scholarship student or a foreign government-supported scholarship student. Receive a letter of recommendation from the head professor of the department(major) as an exchange student. ①, ②, ③ Applicants are required to obtain a certificate of TOPIK level 4 or higher prior to graduation(about 2 months before graduation ceremony).
Remarks	Language Proficiency	Applicants can apply for the department(major) in any major they desire. Applicants may not apply for some departments(majors) under some circumstances. When applying as a transfer(or a re-entry) student, applicants must meet the head professor of the relevant department(major) in advance.

Evaluation Process


Details	The interview process as 100 percent of the total score used for admission is valued after applicant documents are reviewed.
Remarks	If applicants are regarded inappropriate for admission during the interview, they will be rejected regardless of the number of vacant students to be admitted. If applicants are absent for the interview, they will be rejected for admission.

Japan	Applicants must submit a confirmation issued by the embassy of Japan, which ascertain whether the university president’s seal is authentic or not.
The Others	Applicants must submit an accredited university confirmation(an academic credentials confirmation) issued by embassies or culture centers of the nation. If it is not issued, applicants will be notified of signing the written oath provided by Hansung University. Applicants must check if their universities are searched on the website of WHED(World Higher Education Database, www.whed.net) and submit the screenshot related to such results.

Scholarships


Details	Successful applicants for a master’s degree are paid within 50% of tuition for 1∼4 semesters(1∼5 semesters as for Graduate School of Education). Successful applicants for a doctorate degree are paid within 40% of tuition for 1∼6 semesters. If successful applicants do not submit a certificate of Test of Proficiency in Korean(TOPIK) level 4 or higher at the beginning of the 3rd semester, they will be paid within 30% of tuition for a master's program and 24% of tuition for a doctorate program. All scholarships will be paid to enrolled students only if GPA is 3.0 or more starting from the 2nd semester. Scholarships will not be paid to them with GPA of below 3.0. Successful applicants who have completed Korean courses in Korean Language Education Center of Hansung University and recommended by Dean of International Affairs Office get 500,000 won reduction in admission fee. Scholarships for foreign students are subject to change in the future.
